About
the frames
Rooted in classic art and religious iconography, my work is a dialogue across time and place. Originally from Italy and now based in England, I draw on the richness of my heritage alongside British textile traditions.
Encouraged by a desire to reconnect with making by hand, I create work that values slowness, intention, and meaning. In contrast to mass production, handcraft becomes both resistance and renewal.
Through layered fabrics, intricate trimmings, and detailed embellishment, I reinterpret cultural influences into one-of-a-kind pieces rich in texture and story—bridging past and present with a sense of nostalgia and contemporary relevance.
Guided by a romantic sensibility, I create objects that are both artistic and accessible, pieces that bring character and quiet beauty into everyday spaces.
A subtle homage to the past, shaped by craftsmanship, intuition, and emotional depth.
